In the current robust financial services sector, employers are in need of new skills from their employees. However, the reality is this: the industry is faced with a shortage of the right talent.

Hence, to bridge the talent gap in the financial services institutions (FSI), a proactive and cohesive approach is needed from FSI employers and Higher Learning Institutions (HLIs) alike to produce effective talent with relevant knowledge and competencies to serve the industry.

This report explores the challenges faced by the industry in terms of not only having adequate talent in terms of numbers, rather having high calibre outstanding talent in the long run to meet the industry needs.
