Early this year, AIF embarked on a consumer study to understand the role and drivers of trust in FinTech and the financial services industry (FSI), well as understand how stakeholders could enhance future trust for consumer advocacy.

Join us at our Consumer Trust Forum for an interactive session with our five member panel consisting of experts from the FSI and the FinTech ecosystem.

The Forum has been designed to provide engagement between participants and panel members to discuss these challenges pertinent today and the future.
Co-Founder, Chief Product Officer / Chief People Officer
Winnie is the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer/Chief People Officer of PolicyStreet. PolicyStreet advances insurance by providing demand-led online insurance coverages which are simple to understand, easy to obtain and affordable. PolicyStreet demystifies jargons to present insurance in a layman manner and provides continuous series of insurance education to the underserved through online and offline outreach.

Winnie’s 7 years of insurance industry experience encompasses actuarial roles in data mining, predictive modelling, product development to business roles in financial analytics, impact assessment and stakeholders’ management. She was also part of General Insurance Association of Malaysia (PIAM) Young Managers Think Tank committee, focused on identifying talent management issues plaguing the often-misunderstood industry, and initiatives to nurture next generation of insurance professionals.

Recently, she was named Forbes Asia 30 under 30, under Finance and Venture Capital category. She is currently a member of Industry Advisory Council for PayNet, Malaysia's premier payments network and central infrastructure for financial markets.

She holds the Bachelors of Actuarial Studies from the Australian National University, Canberra.

Standard Chartered Bank
Aaron Loo joined Standard Chartered Bank in April 2015. As Country Head, Retail Banking, he is responsible for driving the Retail Banking business performance in Malaysia and delivering the best products and services to Personal, Priority and Business clients.

He has more than 15 years’ experience in retail banking covering strategy, product management, operations, collections & recovery, IT and project management over a range of retail products and support functions. Prior to joining Standard Chartered, he was Head, Group Consumer Banking at Alliance Bank Malaysia.

Previously, he was attached with CIMB for over 13 years, where he was last Senior Managing Director and Head, Group Cards and Personal Financing Division in which he oversaw the bank’s Regional Credit Cards business. He was also a member of its Consumer Bank Management Committee.

Aaron holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computation and Master of Science in Advanced Computation, both from Imperial College London. He started his career as a consultant with McKinsey & Co before joining the banking sector in 2000.

Vince graduated from University Malaya in 1985 with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts & Social Science. He has more than 33 years working experience in financial services industry, and had worked in Malaysia , Indonesia, Philippines, Fiji Islands and Bahrain.

He had sat on the Boards of MEPS Sdn Bhd, MEPS Currency Sdn Bhd and Bonuskad Loyalty Sdn Bhd.

He was Chairman of Malaysia’s National Cards Group and was a member VISA Asia Pacific Marketing Council.

He was recognised by the Asianbanker as one of Malaysia’s Leading Practitioners in Retail Banking.

As the Chief Payments Officer of Merchantrade Asia, he is tasked with driving the overall payments business that embraces an enterprise view of payments, developing technologically innovative payment solutions that will position Merchantrade as a payments leader in the non-banking industry.
