Institut Bank-Bank Malaysia (IBBM)
 
 
Established in November 1977 as the professional and educational body for the banking and financial services industry in Malaysia, Institut Bank-Bank Malaysia (IBBM) is the leader in providing industry-focused training programmes and certifications. Launched by the banking and financial services industry, IBBM is governed by a Council comprising representatives from Bank Negara Malaysia, the Association of Banks in Malaysia, Association of Finance Companies of Malaysia and the Malaysian Investment Banking Association (formerly the Association of Merchant Banks in Malaysia). Islamic Banking and Finance Institute Malaysia (IBFIM)
 
 
Officially launched in February 2001, IBFIM is an industry owned institute dedicated to producing well-trained, high calibre individuals and executives with the required expertise in the Islamic finance industry. IBFIM is regulator-linked. Its mandate is contained in the country’s Financial Sector Masterplan (2001) and Capital Market Masterplan (2001). Malaysian Insurance Institute (MII)
 
  Founded in 1968 as a non-profit organisation, MII is the leading insurance education and training institution, providing internationally recognised qualifications in insurance, risk management and financial planning. Securities Industry Development Corporation (SIDC)
 
  Securities Industry Development Corporation, the leading capital markets education, training and information resource provider in ASEAN, is the training and development arm of the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC).
